The Only Father's Day Gift Guide Worth Your Time...
A curated list sent from the design gods...
As someone who spent five years working for a gifting company, I’m officially gift-guide fatigued.
Did my dad love his personalised BBQ flipper? Maybe in the moment. Now it’s just rusting away in a sad corner of the garden, probably wondering if it should have sent a nicer Christmas card to get invited inside.
So before we get stuck in, I’ll be honest, this list has some pricier bits, and sure, not everything’s for everyone. But if nothing here screams “buy me for baby daddy or your own dad,” maybe it’ll at least spark an idea of alternative gifts for Dad.
Is this list tuned to the London creative zeitgeist? Probably. But hey, I am a stylist and trend forecaster living in Deptford—what else am I gonna do? Knit personalised socks?
Honestly, once you’ve had a gander, you might just see gifting for dads in a whole new light. Swap out the pun-centric mug for something more artisanal by ceramists or a cook book to form new memories round the table.
